Problem Solving is a question-and-answer segment for barangay residents who are in need of answers for their problems. It is a subsegment of Juan for All, All for Juan: Bayanihan of d' Pipol.

In Problem Solving, the hosts satirically answer several questions of barangay residents who seek resolution to their problems. Homeviewers may email their problem or directly call the hosts to share their problem on air. The barangay hosts also attempt to answer questions that netizens ask through the show's Twitter or Facebook page. The netizens may also offer answers or solutions to the chosen “problem of the day.”

As an added humor component, Wally Bayola eventually began to play different characters throughout the segment's run. Initially, he dressed up as Doktora Dora de Explorer, a spoof of the American educational animated television series Dora the Explorer. His character is remarkable for providing medicines with ridiculous names from remote places around the world.

His second character is Lola Nidora, the grandmother of the Doktora Dora de Explorer. Lola Nidora is notable for being surly and stern. His character is accompanied by Yaya Dub, an unsmiling servant who likes to Dubsmash. Yaya Dub is played by showbiz newcomer Maine Mendoza, who became known in the online world for her viral Dubsmash videos.

On 16 July 2015, Maine unexpectedly broke out of her grumpy character when she accidentally smiled after noticing Alden Richards watching her on the show's live split screen. Due to the pair's natural on-screen chemistry, the July 16th episode became the unofficial start of the new segment Kalyeserye. Problem Solving remained as a question-and-answer portion and its title remained unchanged. However, more screen time was given to Alden Richards and Yaya Dub to present a fresh storyline about their forbidden relationship.

Overtime, Problem Solving gradually morphed into an impromptu sitcom titled Kalyeserye, a term coined by Joey de Leon. In August 2015, Kalyeserye officially replaced Problem Solving to completely focus on AlDub's story.
